Dr. Takahiro Oki is an energy policy expert with a mix of international experience in public and private sector organisations. He has been working on clean energy policies for more than 10 years, with key achievements in policy analysis, regulatory negotiations, strategic business development and project management.
Prior to BRUSCO Climate & Energy, Takahiro was an energy policy analyst at the International Energy Agency (IEA), where he led IEA’s flagship initiatives and analyses of clean energy policies. As a former regulation expert at Nissan Motor and Daikin Europe, Takahiro combines technical knowledge, business strategies and solid research skills. He is fluent in English, French, German and Japanese, and teaches at renowned universities, including the College of Europe, the Technical University of Munich and Kassel University. He has a Ph.D. Degree in European Climate and Energy Policies (Political Science) from the Technical University of Munich.
